Art Activities/Classes

Discover your inner artist. At Amanda Rylee Arts, we offer a variety of art classes and activities that involve painting, sketching and simple crafts. In these activities, students will have fun creating works of art. Students can build their skills within each class.
Homeschoolers Fee Beach/Park Class: $60-$80 per student In Home Class: $80-$120 per student Adult Activity Fee Beach/Park Activity: $55 per student Fee may vary based on length of time, how many classes in a series and supplies involved.

In Home classes: Homeschoolers

Amanda Rylee Arts offers classes, activities and seasonal events in the comfort of your home. Amanda brings the learning and fun to you. Students will get to paint, sketch or do a craft within a 2 hour block. For those homeschoolers that are part of "Step Up For Students" program it is highly encouraged for you to coordinate with fellow friends and family part of this program to fill the "In Home Class". You can sign up directly through "Step Up For Students" by searching for "Amanda Rylee Arts." The average fee per student per class is 80. A minimum of 4 students per class. Max 12 students per class. Schedule: By Appointment Monday-Friday (9am-6pm)
In Home Classes Offered:
Floral Still Life: Painting $120 per student 2 hour class in home Students will enjoy painting a still-life floral display on a table. They will observe what they see and have fun depicting it into their painting. Creating their own mini masterpiece.
Botanical Nature: Sketch $80 per student 2 hour class in home Students will have fun sketching off a reference photo of an up close botanical scene. They will observe size, shape and shading. The teach will help them with portions and placement. Students will have fun creating their own work of art.
Self Portrait Sketch 4 class series (1.5hr classes) 6 hours total $220 for series Class 1) In this class the students will use the printed photo of themselves to start their portrait. They will grid and outline the paper using a ruler, pencil and eraser.
Class 2) Students will shape and shade the details out using the gridding method.
Class 3) Students will continue shaping and shading their self portraits giving it life and dimension.
Class 4) Final touch. Students will evaluate and add the final details to their self portrait for it to look and feel complete. The teacher will take a group class photo of all the students at the end of class.
Self Portrait Painting with Acrylic paint 4 class series (1.5hr classes) 6 hours total$220 for series

Class 2) Students will shape the outline to look more like themselves. If they are ready to paint they may start in this class. Base paint coat.
Class 3) Students will start and or continue to paint their self portraits giving it life and dimension.
Class 4) Final touch. Students will evaluate and add the final details to their self portrait for it to look and feel complete. The teacher will take a group class photo of all the students at the end of class.

Beach/park classes: homeschoolers

Amanda Rylee Arts offers classes located at a variety of parks and beaches in Naples, Florida. Students will get to paint or sketch within a 2 hour block. Supplies will be provided for the class. Bring your own chair, water, sunscreen and snack. Get ready to have fun discovering your artistic talents at the beach or in a park. Surrounded by nature. You can sign up directly through "Step Up For Students" by searching for "Amanda Rylee Arts."
Fee per student is $80, minimum of 6 students per class. Max 12 students per class. Schedule: By appointment Monday-Friday (9am-6pm)
Beach/Park Classes Offered:
Art By The Sea: Painting 2 hour class $80 per student Students will pick a view point at the beach and paint what they see in a landscape painting. Teacher is there to guide students and have fun painting what they see.
Art By The Sea: Sketch 2 hour class $80 per student Students will pick a view point at the beach and sketch a landscape drawing of nature. The teacher is there to guide students capture what they see, to encourage them to have fun being creative.
Sunset Art By The Sea: Painting 2 hour class $80 per student Students will pick a view point at the beach and paint what they see in a landscape painting. Exploring the vibrant colors of a sunset, depicting it on canvas.
I Spy Nature: Sketch 2 hour class $80 per student Students will look for wild life to sketch or use a reference photo provided by teacher. Have fun learning about shapes and shading with wild life.
